WPC Wood Composite Co-extrusion Door Profile Machine
Model:SJSZ65/132
Yongte WPC Wood Composite Co-extrusion Door Profile Machine is engineered for manufacturing of solid WPC door frames with structure of inner wood/LVL core and outer 4-5mm thickness WPC layer by one step.
The Yongte WPC Wood Composite Co-extrusion Door Profile Machine is engineered and refined for the large-scale manufacturing of solid WPC door frames. Addressing the drawbacks of conventional WPC solid door frames, including excessive weight, high expenses, susceptibility to deformation, and poor fastener retention, we have introduced a one-step co-extrusion technology featuring a PVC WPC layer and a Wood/LVL/MDF core to create cost-effective WPC solid door frames. This novel production approach combines advancements in material structure with automated processing, establishing a robust basis for the efficient and economical production of high-quality solid WPC door frames.
The core of the solid WPC door profile may consist of LVL wood, MDF, aluminum, or steel posts. The exterior features a WPC or PVC layer, with a thickness of 4-5 mm being adequate. This versatile design leverages the strengths of various materials: the outer WPC/PVC layer offers excellent water, moisture, and corrosion resistance, while the inner core ensures robust structural strength and support, achieving an optimal balance between performance and production cost.
Meanwhile, this co-extrusion structure retains the visual traits of standard WPC profiles, allowing for direct nailing, planing, and painting. It aligns with traditional installation and post-processing methods for finished doors, eliminating the need for downstream manufacturers to modify their existing production lines. Supported by mature co-extrusion technology and reliable equipment setup, this production line ensures sustained, stable operation, enabling businesses to achieve efficient, high-quality mass production of affordable solid WPC door frames.
The WPC Wood Composite Co-extrusion Door Profile Machine employs co-extrusion technology to simultaneously form the wood/LVL/MDF core and functional outer layer, streamlining production by minimizing manual handling and material waste. Unlike traditional multi-step assembly methods, this approach boosts efficiency and ensures consistent dimensional precision, meeting the standardized specifications required for solid WPC door frames in downstream manufacturing. Additionally, the line allows for flexible adjustments to formulas and process parameters, accommodating diverse performance needs for finished door frames while helping manufacturers balance cost control with product quality.

Advantages:
1, Lower production cost:
Compared with the traditional solid WPC door frame production mode that uses all WPC materials as raw materials, this co-extrusion structure greatly reduces the dosage of high-cost WPC or PVC materials, and replaces the main structural part with cheaper wood/LVL/MDF core materials. This raw material structure adjustment directly cuts down the raw material cost per unit product, and the one-step forming process also reduces the extra cost brought by multiple processing and secondary transfer. What's more, the stable and efficient continuous production of the equipment reduces the defective rate in the production process, further helping manufacturers control production cost from multiple links.
2, Stable production, avoiding deformation:
For a full WPC door frame, foaming occurs inside the profile, and it is difficult to ensure uniform foaming. As a result, many manufacturers encounter product deformation problems. Even when using the same machine and the same formula, the product quality can vary, making it difficult to maintain consistent production and quality. The production defective rate is therefore high.
For the WPC+wood door frame, the inner core size is fixed and is fed into the extrusion line stably and continuously, so it is very easy for machine operators to control the product quality and forming dimensions. The 4-5 mm outer WPC layer is also easy to control with the die and calibrators. As a result, the production defective rate is very low.
3,Higher production speed:
For the Full WPC door frame, it is difficult to cool the inside completely. Even if the length of the calibrator and water tank is increased, the production speed is still very limited to 0.3-0.5 m/min because of the large product thickness and high internal heat. Moreover, the product may deform after production due to the residual heat inside that cannot be fully removed in the extrusion line.
For the WPC+wood door frame, the inner LVL core is at normal temperature and only needs surface heating before being fed into the extrusion line. Since the WPC layer is only 4-5 mm thick, the complete product can be easily cooled by the calibrators and water tank. Therefore, the production speed can reach 0.5-0.8 m/min, and the product can be fully cooled in the extrusion line, avoiding deformation after production.
4, Better nail/screw holding strength, high strength, and high toughness
For the Full WPC door frame, due to its inner foaming and the fact that it is made of PVC and wood composite (wood content is less than 20%), it suffers from weak nail/screw holding. In particular, because of its heavy weight, the door frame may loosen after a period of use.
For the WPC+wood door frame, the inner core is wood/LVL/MDF, which offers high strength, high toughness, resistance to fatigue failure caused by periodic stress, and high nail/screw holding strength. As a result, the nail/screw holding strength of the WPC+wood door frame is as high as that of the original LVL product.
Summary
the WPC+wood co-extrusion door frame can be made with both advantages of wood and WPC, it is water proof, fire proof, insect proof, high strength, high toughness, high nail/screw holding strength, smooth and beautiful outlook which can be embossed/laminated/painted
