Project Overview

Vietnam is rich in coconut agricultural waste. To help our Vietnamese customer turn locally available waste coconut shells into high-value outdoor WPC decking, Yongte developed a fully customized wood-plastic composite production line specially adapted for coconut shell fibre. This solution realizes circular economy, reduces raw material cost and delivers premium co-extruded WPC decking with realistic wood texture.

Core Equipment & Technical Highlights

1. Coconut Shell Crushing & Milling Machine

Coconut shell fibre is tough and coarse, which brings heavy wear to standard crushing and milling equipment. We customised the crusher blades made of D2 tool steel for superior wear resistance. The milling machine adopts a disc cutter assembly with spiral blades, to grind tough coconut shells uniformly into fine powder for stable downstream compounding.

2. Mixer with Inverter Control

The high-speed mixer is equipped with variable frequency drive. It supports flexible speed adjustment according to formula and mixing stage, greatly cutting power consumption and achieving energy-saving operation.

3. Parallel Twin Screw Granulator

Fresh coconut shell contains high moisture content, which is a major processing challenge. Our twin-screw granulator is fitted with a heavy-duty multi-stage vacuum venting system to efficiently remove moisture and volatile matter during compounding. The screw and barrel are manufactured from corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant alloy material, extending service life under long-term biomass processing conditions.

4. WPC Decking Extrusion Line

The decking extrusion system adopts high-efficiency energy-saving design, equipped with automatic PLC control system for stable, easy operation and consistent profile quality. Finished boards feature realistic 3D wood grain embossing and co-extruded anti-aging capping layer. The capped surface provides excellent UV resistance, weathering resistance and anti-fade performance, ideal for outdoor decking applications.
