5. WPC Decking Extrusion Line - Core Forming for WPC Decking Profiles The function of a WPC decking extrusion line is to efficiently melt and plasticize wood-plastic granules (or fragments) using a conical twin-screw extruder, and then extrude them into specialized wood-plastic molds to form the required size and shape. The design of the barrel diameter decreasing from large to small ensures not only the mixing effect of the material but also a stable melt pressure within the mold cavity, compressing the wood-plastic material (final product density reaches 1.3 g/cm³) to ensure the strength of the final WPC decking product.
