Yongte Wood Core WPC Door Profile Co-extrusion Machine is used for making solid WPC door frames with inner wood/LVL core and outer WPC layer by one step co-extrusion technology.it has advantage of high speed, high capacity, high automatic, low production cost
The Yongte Wood Core WPC Door Profile Co-extrusion Machine is specifically designed for the mass production of solid WPC door frames. To overcome common issues with traditional frames, such as heavy weight, high costs, deformation, and poor screw holding, we utilize a one-step co-extrusion process that bonds a PVC/WPC outer layer with a Wood/LVL/MDF core. This innovative method merges material structural improvements with automated manufacturing, providing a solid foundation for producing high-quality, cost-effective solid WPC door frames efficiently.
The solid WPC door profile core can be made from LVL wood, MDF, aluminum, or steel posts. The exterior comprises a WPC or PVC layer, with 4-5 mm thickness being sufficient. This adaptable design capitalizes on the benefits of diverse materials: the outer WPC/PVC layer provides superior resistance to water, moisture, and corrosion, while the inner core delivers strong structural integrity and support, striking an ideal balance between performance and manufacturing cost.
Furthermore, this co-extrusion structure preserves the aesthetic characteristics of standard WPC profiles, permitting direct nailing, planing, and painting. It is compatible with conventional installation and finishing techniques for completed doors, removing the necessity for downstream manufacturers to alter their current production lines. Backed by established co-extrusion technology and dependable equipment configuration, this production line guarantees consistent, stable performance, allowing companies to realize efficient, high-volume manufacturing of cost-effective solid WPC door frames.
The Wood Core WPC Door Profile Co-extrusion Machine utilizes co-extrusion technology to concurrently shape the wood/LVL/MDF core and functional outer layer, simplifying production by reducing manual intervention and material loss. In contrast to conventional multi-stage assembly techniques, this method enhances efficiency and guarantees uniform dimensional accuracy, satisfying the standardized requirements for solid WPC door frames in subsequent manufacturing stages. Moreover, the production line supports adaptable modifications to formulas and process settings, catering to varied performance demands for final door frames while assisting manufacturers in optimizing the balance between cost management and product quality.

Advantages:
1, Lower production cost:
In contrast to traditional solid WPC door frame manufacturing that relies entirely on WPC materials, this co-extrusion design significantly lowers the consumption of expensive WPC or PVC by substituting the primary structural component with more affordable wood/LVL/MDF cores. This material optimization directly reduces per-unit raw material expenses, while the one-step forming process eliminates additional costs associated with multi-stage processing and secondary handling. Furthermore, the equipment’s stable and efficient continuous operation minimizes production defects, enabling manufacturers to control costs across multiple aspects.
2, Stable production, avoiding deformation:
In the case of full WPC door frames, internal foaming often lacks uniformity, leading to frequent deformation issues for many manufacturers. Even with identical machinery and formulas, product quality can fluctuate, hindering consistent production and quality control. Consequently, the production defective rate remains high.
With the WPC+wood door frame, the inner core maintains a fixed size and is fed into the extrusion line in a stable, continuous manner, allowing machine operators to easily manage product quality and forming dimensions. The 4-5 mm outer WPC layer is also readily controlled via the die and calibrators. Consequently, the production defective rate is significantly reduced.
3,Higher production speed:
With full WPC door frames, achieving complete internal cooling is challenging. Despite extending the calibrator and water tank, the substantial product thickness and high internal heat restrict production speed to merely 0.3-0.5 m/min. Furthermore, residual heat that cannot be fully dissipated within the extrusion line may cause post-production deformation.
In the case of WPC+wood door frames, the inner LVL core remains at ambient temperature, requiring only surface heating prior to extrusion. Given that the WPC layer is merely 4-5 mm thick, the calibrators and water tank can efficiently cool the entire product. Consequently, production speeds can achieve 0.5-0.8 m/min, ensuring thorough cooling within the extrusion line and preventing post-production deformation.
4, Better nail/screw holding strength, high strength, and high toughness
The Full WPC door frame, characterized by its inner foaming and PVC-wood composite composition (with wood content below 20%), exhibits poor nail/screw holding strength. Specifically, its substantial weight may cause the frame to loosen after prolonged use.
In WPC+wood door frames, the inner core consists of wood, LVL, or MDF, providing superior strength, toughness, fatigue resistance, and excellent nail/screw holding capacity. Consequently, its fastening strength matches that of standard LVL products.
Summary
The WPC+wood co-extrusion door frame combines the benefits of both wood and WPC, offering water, fire, and insect resistance, along with high strength, toughness, and superior nail/screw holding capacity. It features a smooth, attractive finish that can be embossed, laminated, or painted.
