Custom-Built Large Parallel Twin-Screw Plastic Recycling Extruders for African Client Under Production

Our company is manufacturing two heavy-duty custom plastic recycling extruders for an African partner, designed to support local circular economy and produce fast-selling daily plastic goods from waste plastic film.

Africa’s Booming Plastic Recycling Market Outlook

Africa is one of the fastest-emerging plastic recycling markets globally. Rapid urban expansion brings large volumes of post-consumer plastic film waste, while local demand for affordable daily plasticware keeps rising steadily. More local manufacturers are shifting to on-site waste recycling: turning plastic scrap into usable raw materials cuts import costs, creates local jobs, and addresses plastic pollution. Reliable, robust extrusion equipment capable of stable continuous operation under tough site conditions is in high demand across the continent. This project aligns perfectly with the trend of localized plastic waste valorisation in Africa.

Robust Machine Build for Long-Term Stable Operation

These two units feature 4.5-meter-long parallel twin screws, paired with high-efficiency energy-saving motors and heavy-duty, low-vibration gear reducers. An advanced electromagnetic heating system delivers fast, uniform heating and lower power consumption. Structural rigidity is a core design priority. The main frame is precision-machined from premium 10 mm thick cast iron plates. The mounting bases for motors and gearboxes are fabricated from solid 70 mm thick steel plates, resisting deformation under long-hour heavy-load running and greatly extending service life. Every structural component is engineered for harsh workshop environments common in African recycling plants.

High Throughput & Versatile End Applications

The extruders support direct melt processing of waste plastic films without complicated pre-treatment, reaching a stable output of 600 kg per hour with outstanding plasticizing homogeneity. The recycled molten plastic material from this line can be fed directly into compression moulding equipment to make popular consumer products widely sold across African markets, including plastic basins, buckets, plastic stools and other daily household plastic items. It creates a complete closed-loop chain: waste film collection → melt extrusion → compression moulding → finished plastic goods for local sale.

Our Commitment to Overseas Recycling Partners

We focus on tailor-made heavy-duty recycling extrusion solutions for African and global customers. Beyond solid mechanical construction and energy-efficient design, we provide technical guidance, process support and after-sales service to help clients achieve consistent output, stable product quality and better return on investment. This order marks another milestone of our deep engagement with Africa’s plastic recycling industry.
